I just got a crock-pot and I was just wondering can I put frozen chicken in it? How long would I cook it, and can I just put it straight in there with seasonings or salsa or something?! Thanks!

Yep - depends on the size/type of chicken. No less than 6 hours, I should think. the rest is variable.

Thanks! I usually do chicken tenders... Would those be ok for 6 hours too?

  • I cook frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the crockpot all the time. I usually cook them for about 8 hour.

I would guess that if breasts go for 8, then the smaller tenders would be okay at 6. of course, check the thickest one before eating to be sure! If you've left too much time before supper, you can always turn it off for a while. Crocks will stay hot for a long time, so din din doesn't get cold right away if you need to stop cooking something.
