Do you find it hard to record cals accurately?

I find this the case in restaurants and other peoples houses becasue you don't know the ingredient list. How about you?

Some restaurants are listed on here; smaller chains or independent ones probably aren't though.. so in that respect it is hard, including people's houses. Only advice I have is make intelligent guesses and pick things off the menu which are healthier by default i.e. nothing with "creamy" in the description even if it might seem healthy by the title (e.g 'creamy vegetarian pasta'). Choose side salads instead of chips/potatoes. That kinda thing.. and just log it under the generic value e.g "generic side salad" or "generic baked salmon with roasted vegetables". OVERESTIMATE, never underestimate.

As for people's houses just act as per above, but in a situation e.g. a dinner party, if you have no control over WHAT you eat, just ask for smaller portions (and no alcohol or minimal - stick to 'clean' drinks like white wine and gin).

    I hope this helps .. =) x
