So apparently Justin Beiber got a picture taken of him and he was holding something that looked like a joint... So now a bunch of his followers have started a "cut yourself for Beiber" movement where they self mutilate themselves so that Justin will stop smoking pot...

    Teenagers are crazy.. and Beiber is all the rage.

    Some photo hog died trying to get a picture of the kid... so this does not surprise me in the least!

    These scene / emo chicks... First off, what kind of scene / emo person listens to Justin Bieber? When I was in high school, and dressed the part (goth / punk esque), if you listened to something like rap or Justin Bieber, you were a poser. My how the world changes.

    On the other hand, I'm glad people have decided that fashion doesn't have to equal taste in music. I encourage uniqueness. This, just... blows my mind, though. A girl. Cutting her arm. While listening to Justin Bieber.

    I hope she gets the help she needs, because eventually this can kill her. I'm sure she knows it. I'm sure we all know it.

    This grosses me out for so many reasons, I don't even know where to begin.

    First of all, smoking pot isn't even that big of a deal. And even if it was, it shouldn't really be anybody's business but his own (of course, for a famous person, everything is everybody's business, but that's another story.)
    Secondly, self-harm shouldn't be taken lightly at all, and self-harm because of something that somebody else is doing is just really really sad (and I don't mean that in the sad-pathetic way but actually seriously sad.) Taking pictures of it and posting it on the internet makes it obvious that it's being done for attention... the only problem is that the poor girl is going to be getting so much negative attention from it now and it's just going to make a lot of things even worse.
    I do hope that somebody gives her the attention she actually needs and helps her, though, because self-harm, regardless of the reason, is never okay.

    Being the mother of a scene/emo teenager, or at least she wears her hair like that, my daughter was very disturbed by this. She didn't understand why anyone would harm themselves over something he did. She is not a Bieber fan at all!!
