Hey guys, I went to my dad's house in NC this weekend and ate everything that stood still. Help me not feel devastated today as I try to get back on track! I hate that I'm feeling guilty days later about eating fried okra! Ahhhh!

Does it make you feel better that I had the exact same weekend? (Minus the fried okra  ). Use the guilt as a reminder of how much better you feel when you do everything right! Best of luck, and remember that you can do this!

we all have crappy days, last friday i took my kids to the movies for a march break treat and i had popcorn and chocolate..... then we went to mcdonalds.... I have decided its ok! its a new week and i will get back on the wagon and try harder. We all feel guilty for making mistakes but its our guilt that makes us strong enough to get back up and do better! you can do this!!!!

 Sometimes, weekends like that make life worth living. I hosted a baby shower for my sister this weekend and it was a chocolate tea at a local hotel. OMG. I haven't eaten that much in months, but it was delicious. So, as Judge Judy would say......put a period and move on! That's what I'm trying to do. Today is a new day. Don't feel bad. If I NEVER allowed myself some of those treats, this program would not suit me. :drinker:
  • Thanks so much! I hate when I get this "all or nothing" attitude. Life just isn't black and white, I know, but I get discouraged when I think I've failed somehow.

Let's just say "Fish Fry" at our elementary school on Saturday night. :noway: Getting back on track again today! As Pam says, this wouldn't work if we had to give up everything! Who would be able to take it for very long? Forget about yesterday and concentrate on today! :drinker:

Don't feel bad and like wewereundone say, use it as motivation.
I had a bad day yesterday and I physically felt like crap from eating too much. I hate that feeling.
Today is a new day and decide right now that you are gonna eat right.

    Good luck! :flowerforyou:
