Ready to start this journey

Hello everyone,
I am 32 years old and a mother of three and ready to start my weight loss journey. I found this site yesterday and created an account. Not sure completely how it works or how to start this journey but I figure creating an account was a start. I had three children within 4 1/2 years and I feel like the time has come for me to start paying attention to my health and my ever increasing weight.

So, I look forward to logging on here each day and getting to know some of you. This week I decided to simply track my food that I would normally eat, just to get an idea of how many calories a day I'm consuming pre-lifestyle change. I debated between joinging this site, spark people and weight watchers but for now am only registered on here. Although one thing I am kind of curious about is where to you go to get meal ideas? I know on spark people they give you suggested meal plans for your calorie range but I don't see that on this site. Are there other sites online that you more seasoned members like to visit?

Anyway, I don't know where this journey will lead me but I look forward to getting to know some of you along the way. Have a wonderful day.

    I love this site!!! If you eat anything like I do/did, you'll be amazed at how many calories you actually consume. This site really helps to hold me accountable for what I eat.
