I really like Muscle Pharm Combat Powder. They have all kinds of flavors and it tastes really good. We usually buy the Banana Cream, but the cookies and cream is really good too.

I really like BSN Syntha-6 Strawberry and Muscle Pharm Combat Powder in Peanut Butter Chocolate!
  • MMmm those sound really tasty! I can't have dairy (whey) or soy so it's hard for me to find a protein powder without those ingredients. I use the arbonne protein and I think it tastes great and also mixes easily if you're using it without a blender.

Cellucor Whey Peanut butter marshmallow? Sounds awesome - how many carbs are in that? Calories?

My trainer told me to use GNC Weybolic extreme 60. Be careful if you are female too. Some of those shakes can be very estrogenic if they have too much dairy. We don't want our hormones any messier than they already are :) While it is not the most wonderful I have ever tasted it, I do like it. The amino acids are absorbed faster than some other shakes. It is great if you are doing extreme lifting or CrossFit.

Nectar by syntrax in vanilla was pretty good, biochem vanilla okay. Isopure unflavoured is rank!

I find 1 part protein powder to (approximately) 234,000 parts bacon works well.

Have you tried Garden of Life Raw Protein Powder. It is certified Vegan, Gluten Free, and Dairy Free. I feel like it has the most bang for the buck.

I'm currently loving my Apex Fit (Chocolate), but there was also some organic chocolate whey powder I used to get from the grocery store that I can't seem to find anymore. My friend sells Herbalife and had me try some of the chocolate ... ugh my lord it was disgusting.

Do any of you get nauseous after drinking the protein like I do??

Nope, but that could depend on what you mix the protein with. For me some protein mixed with water or low fat milk taste nasty so I like to mix it with whole milk, it's delicious.

Syntha-6 Chocolate Milkshake and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!
  • Muscle Mlk - Strawberies & Cream, Cake Batter, Banana Cream
  • I really need to get out of my box and try other brands. This thread will definitely help me with that.

So far out of all the kinds of protein that I have tried, my top favorite for the moment has to be ..

(GNC) Amplified Wheybolic 60 chocolate. I mean it tastes like watered down hot chocolate mix when blended with water, but today I went that extra mile by throwing 2 scoops into some almond milk and boy was I ever pleased.

Another good protein that I've tried in the past is Pure Protein (both chocolate and vanilla.)

I'm about to order the cookies and cream from six star to try but these flavors you've mentioned i've got to try too. We should start a protein co-op and share some flavors, lol
  • Bumping this for later! Just starting to use protein powders and it's a struggle to find one I can tolerate.
