So, I'll start off my admitting, I'm cheap, yup cheapskate. I have never been a person to buy lots of clothes. I think mostly because I never liked the way my body looked and clothes shopping wasn't fun. I have only bought myself one new pair of jeans in the last 6 months, and I had a 2 coupons which made them about $10. Yup, that is how cheap I am. Thankfully, my mom has been very generous and has bought me some new clothes for work. Actually, she came to see me one day at work and I had on a pair of pants 2 sizes too big, and a sweater a size too big and she told me I looked disgusting. Truth hurts! She left and went and bought me new clothes that very same day! She gave me a gift card for Christmas to a clothing store and I went last week to buy some new clothes. Now remember I'm still cheap so I could only bring myself to buy one pair of jeans, a pair of work slacks, a cami, and a cardigan (and I had a coupon!). I wore my new work outfit yesterday and you wouldn't believe the amount of confidence I got out of wearing clothes that actually fit on my new body. I still am 24 pounds away from my goal weight, but I've lost 78 pounds over the last year, and 56 of that in the last 6 months. So my body has changed quite a bit. But I haven't allowed myself to SEE those changes because I keep hiding it in my old baggy clothes.

Point of my story, if you want a motivator to keep going on your trek, go buy some new clothes! Clothes that fit, and show off the shapely new you. You won't believe what it will do for your psyche! I decided I might even like clothes shopping soon!
