I purchased a HR Monitor watch and I really do like it but I have to hold it to get a reading while exercising which kindof slows me down and I cant always stop doing my arms to keep taking the rate.

Can anyone suggest one that I can wear and it automatically takes the rate every so often...or is there no such thing????

Thanks a bunch :)

Is your HR monitor just a watch, or does it have a chest strap?

its just a watch....I bought it in target when i started JM 30 day shred and it was ok for that but i need my hands free for body revolution and it keeps holding me back having to check it lol

I have a Polar FT4 that I wear for my Jillian DVDs and running and I love it. It has a chest strap so all you do is press start when you start your workout, and press stop when you're done. It will tell you how long your workout was and how many calories you burned. I've had it for 6 months and I love it! It was $60 online.

Any of them that have a chest strap, constantly sample and record your heart rate.

    Polar makes great products.

    I agree with the others.

You need to find one with a chest strap for the continuous monitoring.

Check out Amazon for some different brands.
