Thyroid Issues???

Seeing if anyone out there has this issue. I have been on my weight loss journey a little over 2 years...to date I have lost 79 lbs. I have struggled and struggled for every single pound I lost. I started with weight watchers and exercise (5 - 6) days a week then I hit a 10 month plateau where I still exercised and watched what I ate, the plateau finally broke and I lost another 30 lbs!!! Now my plateau is back dispite exercising 5 - 6 days a week. Now onto my other thing about 8 months ago I started having (minor) health issues it started with not sleeping ( we are talking days without sleep) my dr has prescribed 5 different types of medicine and dosages. Even now I am getting about 3 - 4 hours a night. The about the same time I started having digestive issues...either I was going to the bathroom all the time or I would go a week without ( I know, I know TMI!!!) then my hair has been falling out, and I not talking about a couple strands here or there we are talking it is embarrassing to wear any dark shirt because it looks like I am shedding so I have resorted to wearing my hair up all the time (which sucks!!!) I actually have a lint roller I take with me one the days I really want to have a nice hairdo. The dr ordered a whole round of tests . They all came back right smack dab in the middle of normal!!! After yesterday visit (with another round of different meds) she said if they don't work and since I am coming back in a month for a check up that she wants to try a low dose thyriod medicine. According to her if she didn't have the tests in front of her with the normal number she would swear everything sounds like a thyriod disorder. She also mentioned (since she know how hard I have been trying to loss weight) that it would also make it harder to loss weight. Has anyone ever had a thyriod disorder but had normal test results???
