Starting All Over Again.....

Hello all, I decided to start posting in the forum and maybe gain some motivation and help from others. 5 years ago I gained alot of weight during my pregnancy. I'm 5'6 and started out at 130 and weighed 200lbs in the delivery room. I was under the impression I would lose the baby weight quickly. About 2 1/2 years ago I FINALLY joined a kickboxing and cardio class 3 times a week, I also started walking 5 miles a day EVERYDAY and within that year I lost 50lbs!
Well last year 2012 sometime between April - November I ended up gaining 30lbs back. I honestly think I gained it overnight, it came back so fast. I was so upset with myself, and all the new clothes I bought for work does not fit me anymore. I think the economy just took a toll on me, and with all my bills sky high i started making poor food choices because it was "cheaper" and "quicker".
About two weeks ago I started Zumba, 3 times a week and as of today I'm 4lbs down. I have a co-worker who suggested we go 5 days a week. So I'm really thinking if my body can handle it, then why not? I'm hoping to learn from other on this board, get some motivation to stay on track, and maybe incorporate other exercises into my routine.
Looking to lose 40lbs this year, and finally reach my pre baby weight.. (5 years over due) lol

Gabiinacio, good luck I know what your going through. I didn't have a baby but i was injured and have been out for a little over a year. Luckly for me my job requires me to be outside so I get a lot of exercise. Anyway, I am just back to the gym and on a very strick diet and have had a lot of succeess before. From March of 2011 to June 2011 i lost 35lbs and then another 10 by the end of the summer. At the same time i was lifting weights which added weight to me because muscle weighs more than fat but muscle buns fat too. Let me know if i can help in anyway. David0

Thank you very much, I live in a small town and work long hours and am limited on classes/gyms I can take. My kickboxing instructor moved to a different city, so I'm hoping Zumba will at least kickstart my weightloss. I also have some untouched P90x videos at home which may help.
Looking forward to the future, and reading everyones posts.0
