Here's a link on how to make many, many meals for around $25. The website in general is quite good for meal planning.

Enjoy.

So she only made 5 dishes, right?
17 meals..... is she saying 17 plates worth of food (between her and her boyfriend), or 34 plates of food?
So they ate the 3 dishes approximately 3 times each?

    I can't brain, I have the dumb.
    Someone clue me in.

I'm pretty sure (according to the opening blurb) that "meals" = at least two servings, plus leftovers. It's only five dishes, and some had more leftovers than others. It is a bit confusing, (I re-read it a couple times, and I think it's just vague....) but she does clarify that each dish had at least plenty for two people.

All I know is I'm eating curry in a hurry for dinner tonight.

The curry in a hurry was really good (and went together start to finish in about fifteen minutes).

My only issue is for me it wasn't spicy enough. I jacked it up with more curry powder. I was skeptical about the raisins, but found I really liked them. I was too lazy to make brown rice to go with it, but that would certainly have stretched the serving size.

I thought, too about freezing the chicken or making the recipes and freezing them. Because, as thrifty as it is, eating chicken for a week would get pretty tiring.
