ladies...mentality help

For all the ladies (and maybe some men) who started bulking....did you have trouble getting over the fact that you have to eat more calories? i want to put on some muscle in the next couple months, and i know i should be eating more, but it's almost like my brain won't let me! i've spent so much time trying to restrict cals and stay at a deficit that it's hard to comprehend eating more. any help, tips, or advice??
