Starting again in January

Hi all
Managed to lose 35lbs between September and December. Took a 2 week break for Xmas and managed to put 14lbs back on. So annoyed. Still, I'm 21lbs to the good and hoping to lose another 50lbs this year.
Could do with some group support to back me up - I think it's better for my motivation. I'm 39 yrs old, I'm a youth worker with 2 young kids, so I'm pretty active. I try running and swimming 3 times a week. Feel free to friend me!

  • Hey Mrhairyman, I am trying to lose 30lbs, but decided to take it 10lbs at a time. Small goals seem to work for me. I do great with my plan Monday thru Thursday, but by Friday and through the weekend I get steered off course. I need motivation through that time period. I do not mind being the one to motivate someone because it motivates me as well. I am a mother of two young kids as well and go to the Gym at least 3 times a week. Zumba is my favorite guilty pleasure. Good luck to you.
