No Foot Arch/Squats

I know that the best way to do squats is with a flat surface so you can drive up through the heels. I don't use running shoes for squats because of this and instead use a pair of old flat-bottomed walking shoes. My issue though, is that I don't have any arch in my foot and wear orthotic inserts in every pair of footwear I own (even my hockey skates have them). Some of the orthotics have a slight heel at the end, and obviously this isn't ideal when I'm squatting. I have tried to squat without them, but being so used to the added arch support, my ankles rolled more inward without this support.

Is there anything wrong with squatting when your foot is pretty much completely flat? Should I try squatting without the orthotics and instead point my feet more outward so my ankles don't roll in so much?

I can't hit more than 3x5 at 90lbs right now (been very slowly working my way up from 75lbs since June) and I'm thinking this issue is the reason why. It's the only lift where my progression has been way below my expectations and it's grown incredibly frustrating. Any help would be wonderful!

I have flat feet. I can squat relatively decent.

I've never felt my feet hold me back.

Ahh ok, thanks. I'll probably just have to get used to doing them without the orthotics then.

I squated barefooted until I got these, about your ankles maybe widen your stance a bit.
