Accurate body fat calculation....

So now that I've been at this a while, and I'm seeing results, I want to be a bit more accurate when it comes to my TDEE, nutritional needs, etc.

Here is my (possibly annoyingly novice) question. Is it best to actually go in to my local doctor and have the measurements taken, so that I'm certain the measurements are coming from the right places, or should I just have faith that my fiancee and I are taking them "close enough"?

Basically, I guess what I'm asking is....... is it worth the time to do this or not?

The most accurate method is hydrostatic testing.

I do not think it is worth it.
I performed self body measurements and used to calculate a body fat reading based on some internet site.
    Here is one such site:http://www.sixpacknow.com/bfcalculator.html
    There are many.
It really does not matter what the number is so long as it tracks progress.
My big fat area is my belly.
I measure it every day after weighing in.
When gauging improvement, I try to keep it simple.
I know my approximate body fat based on just one measurement: belly.
