My husband was supposed to pick me up flavored water, and he did, but its carbonated. I drink about 10 glasses of brita water and crystal light throughout the day. Can I consider the carbonated water as part of that? However, my nutritionist told me to drink 8 glasses of uncarbonated fluids a day, but I think she means soda etc. There are no calories, sugars or sodium in the drink either. Any suggestions?

I think plain carbonated water would be better for you than flavored non-carbonated water. IMO, flavored water, carbonated or not, is pretty much just the same as a diet caffeine free soda. But if your nutritionist lets you count flavored water as water, then you should certainly be able to count carbonated flavored water as water.

Yep, it's definitely partof your fluid count. Just check the nutrition and make sure it isn't sugar sweetened and adding to your calories. Otherwise if you count crystal light, than you can count this. Check the sodium too, if you are watching that, because some carbonated beverages can be higher in sodium, which defeats the purpose somewhat.

Sqeeze some lemon in there, and enjoy it as something different. It's just like water, and It won't hurt you, except you might feel a little "gassy."
