More than 200 pounds of 'contraband queso' seized

The Mexican cheese was seized after CBP officials determined the amount of cheese was large enough to be a commercial-size import. CBP officers found the cheese late Friday night inside three ice chests in a pickup driven by a person from Aurora, Colo. The driver was given a $300 fine. The cheese was seized and destroyed.

    No. By the looks of it and where it came from, it's menonita or asadero -- like a fresh unaged mozarella.

    How dare you post a tragedy like this on a fitness site do you know how many tears were shed! Why bring this here we cant handle any more loss.

    Too much to import without declaring it and paying taxes. The article goes on to say:

    "Individuals can import personal quantities of cheese - something in the 10 pound range," Joane Thale-Lembo, CBP Santa Teresa port director said in a statement. "This shipment certainly exceeded that quantity and was therefore seized and destroyed."

    Which led to all the CBP officers stuck in the loo, which meant the truck with the 3000 lbs of drugs just drove right through.
    All part of their master plan, and yet more proof that cheese is evil!
