I'm new here (obviously) and starting the C25K program-

All my life I have wanted to be a runner, but never could. This time, I'm not letting anything get in my way.

After watching my four month old daughter battle cancer (neuroblastoma, stage 4), I have NO EXCUSE not to get off my butt and accomplish my goal.

If she can fight this life altering disease, I can run.

And if I lose some weight along the way, even better!

  • First of all, congratulations on beginning your journey. You can do it!

What an inspiration your young daughter is! Your daughter is such a source of strength and encouragment even being so little, and she has my prayers. The picture on your ticker is precious!!

You can be a runner! Good for you committing to it! Just keep going when it gets hard (not matter how cold it is or tired you are :D) and see every opporunity to run is a blessing! If you ever need some encouragement it's just a post away!

Continue on this journey and I hope you find all the success you are looking for (and maybe begin to LOVE running, I know i did!). What an inspiration YOU will be to your daughters! Best of Luck! :)
