What's a good goal for exercise calories burned each day?

Just curious, what is a good goal for exercise calories burned each day, and what is the average that some of you are doing?
Right now I am averaging about 1000 calories burned each day when I exercise (according to my HRM) and would like to know if that's low?

I think it would vary depending on how much weight you have to lose. I generally burn around 600 on my workout days. But i'm at my goal weight and burn less than someone who has a lot to lose.0

Low? No. Some days I only do a short kickboxing workout and burn about 100 calories. Other days I do a workout video and burn around 400.0

1000 is crazy high for all the time. Unless you are triaining for something important. Around 250-600 calories is pretty normal excercise. My excercise varies from 300 for my light Tae Kwan Do to about 900 for P90X Plyometrics.0

i workout religiously 1 1/2 to 2 hours a day and i burn roughly 1000 calories all together.0

I aim for 500-700 on the days that I run and cross train. The other days are usually below 300. I also take at least 1 day off during the week to just sit on my butt and twiddle my thumbs0

I wouldn't consider that low at all.
I do 500-700cal three times a week; 250-300cal the rest of the week, except for one weekend day when we just do a gentle 150cal scenic walk0
