Trying to understand sugar in yogurt

Sometimes I have a Chobani blueberry non fat Greek yogurt and I've been reading that it has high sugar content of 20g. One of the ingredients is cane juice. They add sugar as if the blueberries are not sweet enough.

So I'm trying to find something healthier. Would 2% plain greek yogurt be better for you? I found Fage total 2 %, it lists 9g of sugars but do not list any added sugars in the ingredients. I can add 1/4 - 1/2 cup of unsweetened blueberries and the sugar would be around 14g total.

Also the fat free plain in Chobani list the same amount of sugar as the 2% of 9g but I read for your body to absorb the calcium it needs to have fat in the product.. If it is fat free your body will not break down the calcium..

Would the plain yogurt and add my own berries be a better option?

Thanks
