Water Vs. Sparkling/Flavored Water

So I really just don't enjoy plain tap water very often- unless I'm exercising.
I have always been a Diet Pepsi addict, but have given that up because I know that even though it's zero Calories, that the sodium-among other things- aren't good for me.
I have been drinking flavored sparkling water instead and I'm wondering if it is just as beneficial as regular water?
It is zero cal, zero sodium, no caffeine or sugars. There actually isn't any nutritional value to it at all (good or bad) that is listed.
It's already an improvement to my 4 can a day soda diet, so that part I'm proud of- but I'm just wondering if it's ok for me to keep on considering this like regular water (in my own head)?
Thoughts?
