Best exercises for a heavy girl?

I'm over 300, and started on a recumbent stationary bike. It's extremely helpful because it supports my back and is easy on the joints (plus I can catch my TV shows while I work out, which helps me to go longer/stop watching the clock on it).0

Hey ...my answer is yes you should do the weight training...It burns long after you stop the cardio...it will make you feel more hungry ...but if you do like a two / four split which is one day arms for half hour to hour...then legs...then break then again repeat...and take another day off ..you will notice everything pulling inward and firming up. swimming is another good bet water aerobics and a low intensity lap swim will do wonders for easing stress and you like to dance so it is fun...and if they have a steam room do that two for as long as you can do it or a sauna to flush toxins...you also may want to try a beginning yoga tape..it also releases toxins and is good for stretching out muscles. not sure if you own a juicer ...but I just invested in one and am loving how full the real clean juice you make is making my body feel in just three days I have noticed a energy lift. good luck!0
