Weight Gain After Weight Training Days

I'm pretty sure this is common, but I just want to see if anyone else has noticed this. I'll describe my routine first. On Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays, I do C25K and maybe a cardio class like Zumba. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I do 15 minutes on the elliptical and then use the weight machines (I don't feel comfortable using free weights yet). Tuesdays I do Abs/Legs/Chest/Triceps and Thursdays I do Abs/Shoulders/Back/Biceps. I'm probably giving more information than what's needed. I just want to make sure that it's normal to experience some weight gain after weight training days. I'm doing a few challenges, and I'm thinking check in days should not be after a weight training day. I don't often weigh myself every day, but on Monday I weighed 151, and today, I'm 156. Yes, I'm aware of water weight and I know that's what it is. I'm not panicking about gaining weight because I know it will come off quickly. I'm just wondering if the weight training had something to do with it. I'm sure my nutrition does as well. I'm trying to get back into logging, but I'm struggling in that area. Yesterday I probably had about 1600 calories and Net around 1350. That's around the norm for me. Anyways, hope this makes sense and any insight would be appreciated!
