Hi All! I am looking to do a body cleanse/detox (not a juicing fast) mainly for my liver/overall health. Between the holiday drinking and eating I feel like I could use a boost. Any recommendations?

If you want something that MIGHT actually remove some toxins (actually just keep you from absorbing CERTAIN "toxins" in your diet), stack 1.5 tsps of phsyllium husk and a tablespoon of pharmacutical grade bentonite twice a day.

I agree that detoxes are pointless. If you feel you must do something and follow a particular program, take a look at Whole30. It reduces processed foods, and recommends an intake of lean proteins, lots of veggies, some fruits, and some whole grains. Eat your calories worth of food, but make it good for you.

I do have some phsyllium husk as well as mill thistle (for the liver). I've heard a few people talking about teas and stuff, but I just don't want anything harsh.
  • I did the aci berry detox and found it to have less side effects then other detox. Milk thistle is really good for the liver. I take that myself. I had no weight loss from the detox. My personal experience is that using daily fiber, probiotics, and milk thistle.
