Supplements with ephedra or ma huang

Hi guys,
Years ago (2000-2001) I utilized Xenadrine and similar ephedra-based "stacker" supplements to help increase energy and lose weight, and this stuff worked amazingly well when used for short periods of time (30 days). I've never felt better in my life. I was pretty peeved when they banned them, but after all the hype, it seems that in some forms they are legal again and readily available from U.S. sellers (not some weird chinese stuff).
So... are any of you using products such as this? I ordered a bottle of Zenalean Pro, which is supposed to mimic the formula/ingredients of the original Xenadrine RFA-1. However, reviews online are mixed, some saying that the form of ephedra used now is less effective. I figured it's worth a try for up to 30 days.
Note: I realize there are risks, but being over 300lbs weight is the worst risk I'm taking! I need to fix this! Also, before I get the lectures, this is just a part of a larger mental reprogramming about how to eat! I don't expect to take an herbal supplement, eat a large pizza and lose weight. I'm down in weight still, but nowhere near my goal and I have gained 15lbs in the past 3 months ... holidays, grrrrrrr
