Well here goes......hello for 1st post

Hi everyone, I have used mfp before but only played at it, until now!

I gave up smoking in March last year, I used exercise to quite the habit, but I got fitter, lost 2 stone and ran the Plymouth half marathon, unfortunately after I ran the half marathon I stopped! Have eaten like a pig and drunk far to much. I have now put 3 stone on and reached a peak of 276lb, been put on high blood pressure tablets.

So enough is enough, I have joined the 40's club in October last year and want to do a triathlon In my 40th year, so away I go????

My only trouble is time, I leave for work at 6.30am and don't get back till 7pm, and with 3 kids to spend a bit of time in an evening, I can only exercise before 6am!

Quite happy to be friends and offer any support that I can to anyone.

So anyone who wants to give up smoking, I can give you some great advice and support.
