Pity Party Ends Today!

Last friday it had snowed here in Texas. Amazing I know. Anyways I was going down the stairs and well low and behold I rolled my left ankle. Ended up in the ER and on cruthces. Inital xrays show it wasnt fracture but did suggest repeat xray due to a small effuison etc. Since then it has swollen and bruised tremendously. Yesterday my doctor put me in a walking boot because he assures me it is broken and to treat it as such. Since friday I have become every form of pathetic. The biggest pitty party ever. So i have decided its time to get over myself and work around this. So Im looking for ideas how to get some exercise without being on my ankle. Also should I decrease my calorie intake since Im not as active. Anyways thanks for any ideas comments or concerns.

    You know sometimes we just all want our Mommy when we hurt and a pity party is okay as long as its not a lifetime party! When you hurt, you hurt! Glad you are feeling better. I don't have any suggestions as far as exercises go. I'd be very careful with that ankle and just watch your calories more closely.
