Back On Track after Many Setbacks

Hello - if anyone wants a friend I could seriously use some - I used to be on here last summer and lost 25 lbs. The #s want to creep back up now. Last time around I found so much motivation with the MFP friends that I had (so sad that I may not find them again - boo!).

I could use some motivators who may sympathize with my condition - I haven't exercised in a month, weight's creepin' back up, I have a tailbone injury and a torn meniscus, and, I injured my left psoas major all on my left side which makes me want to go all duck foot. But, I KNOW I need to exercise and I am READY to work hard because I have to get ahead of my failings.

I'm looking for friends who like all forms of exercise, although I will personally just stick to weight training and cardio. But my diet is first and foremost, I want to go on strict calorie reduction with higher protein ratio, maybe paleo diet? Zone?

I am at least 50 lbs overweight and it sucks and I can't do this to myself anymore - weight def. ain't helpin' out my injuries, esp. my knee...

Come on there is someone who cares for this whiner....anyone? Bueller? :)

LOL Please add me. I think we could motivate each other. I SO hate exercise and need to watch others who are doing their thing!!
  • Done. Thanks! I am a good little MFP'er and I do a lot of feedback and support so it'll be fun! :)

I just posted about needing friends too!

I too just suffered an ACL and meniscus tear in the past year, and am in need of motivating friends who may be able to relate!

Please feel free to add me! :)

Hi, you are welcome to add me. I just jumped back on the bandwagon after falling off for almost 6 months. I gained a lot of weight back but I am here to lose it again. Love to support/motivate and be motivated/supported. Thanks!

Please add me! I love motivating others and I have trouble motivating myself to get the exercise in every day so could use the motivation myself :) Especially with someone who has a sense of humor too!
  • Thanks for the open welcome from everyone here looking to better themselves - happy to be one of you in the MFP community. :)

I can't afford a gym right now but I have those Insanity DVDs...let's see if I can stick with them haha wish me luck!!

Hi, I too fell off the bandwagon, and am back (after regaining some) and need to lose about 100. Had a knee injury two years ago, but continued exercising in the pool. i like to give feedback, and receiving it is definitely a plus for me. Feel free to add me.
