How do I get kiwifruit to soften? They're not rock hard but they're pretty firm.

I buy mine on the firmer side so they last longer....I just keep them in the fruit basket with the bananas and in a day or two they start to soften.

Sometimes I keep half in the fridge and pull them out when the first half ar gone..keeps them around a little longer.
