What three things are ALWAYS in your fridge? ( can be in the cupboard or freezer) just curious as to what your top 3 things are that you always want on hand!

    I'll cheat slightly and group things together!

    -- Dairy (full fat organic milk, cheese, butter, yoghurt)
    -- Veggies (usual mushrooms, tomatoes, greens, etc)
    -- Tins of beans (baked beans, mixed, kidney, etc)

    Now, the freezer is jam packed with low calorie, frozen dinners and MEAT.

    As you can see, I don't cook anymore. Being in a wheelchair kinda limits me in our small apartment kitchen. My hubbie is Mr. Red Meat. He is all about 'burning beef' on the barbeque. Lately, he has been looking at what I eat and even starting to change some of his meals to 'burned chicken'. Maybe, I am a good example to him after all.

    Always 4-5 different dried legumes in pantry - right now: lentils, pinto beans, split peas, great northern beans, black beans
    Always brown rice and high protein pasta

    (Only 3 things made it too tough, so I snuck in the pantry stuff)!

    Only 3? What are you kidding? There *always* has to be milk, cheese, eggs, yogurt, butter, breakfast meat, lunch meat, dinner meat, and some kind of juice or it means I have to go to the store.

    Thanks for the reminder I'm out of two of my 'must haves' (eggs and greek yoghurt) and need to go past the shop on the way home :bigsmile: .

    The other things that are ALWAYS in the fridge are skim milk and fresh vegetables.

    The natural kind suggests being stored in the fridge as there are no preservatives in it. This is what I was told at least.
