hi! I'm normal ut need motivation!!

hi!! I like to browse the fitblur community and someone said in their FAQ about losing weight it was normal to feel really hungry at first lowering calories when your body is used to overexceeding calories.

I am a mutant, and therefore cannot be of assistance. I do wish you luck, though!

the past couple days you've tracked look pretty good. maybe try to increase your protein a bit. otherwise, drink water and tea and just wait it out.
if you still get hungry a lot after a week or two, try upping your calories by 50-100 a day. it won't interfere with your weight loss and might give you some more room to get in your nutrients.

I can see you just joined- welcome to the world of MFP, where you will find some amazing support, as well as some major a-holes. Seriously though, don't let anyone get to you. The forums has it's great points but I'd recommend finding a group to join so you can connect with people who have things in common with and who really want to help support and be supported.

Anyway, most of the days you've tracked the past week DO look really good. If you're still truly hungry, maybe snack on some low-cal veggies or fruit...personally, I don't think it's horrible to go over your cals on things like that- none of us got here because we ate too many carrot sticks or apples, you know? (Of course different people will have different opinions but that's just my take). Just make sure you're really paying attention to your body. Are you hungry, or just bored? If you're bored, feeling down, etc. the emotional eating is what you need to work on avoiding and not immediately going to food is what you need to get used to. But if you're truly hungry, you shouldn't deprive yourself of food. That's what leads to binges and giving up.

Best of luck to you! :flowerforyou:

That was going to be my suggestion...
    Vodka.

    and lots of it.

    Unflavored, that is.

    (just say no to gluten)

PS - I'm normal. That is in comparison to Crankster......
  • Hi, I read that sometimes your body thinks you are hungry, when you are really just thirsty. When you feel hungry, have a glass of water, wait about 10mintues to see if you are truly hungry. Also, you could try having a healthy smoothie for breakfast. I find they really fill me up and its a great way to start the day :)
