Bikini??

I am leaving in 25 days for a Carribean cruise with my husband. I haven't worn a bikini even at my smalliest, since I had my son (7 years ago). I have dreaded and awful stretch marks. Mine are not the one here or one here type, it's obvious!!! So I have worked my very hardest and still have 24 more days to go to be in the best shape possible for this cruise. However, no matter what I will always have stretch marks. I have told myself to just be confident and try to rock a bikini once again and not give a crap about the stretch marks. So I am wondering if anyone knows of a place to purchase rather "modest' bikinis. All I can seem to find are skimpy and slutty ones haha, which I would totally be okay with if I could rock it haha! So I'm hoping maybe someone is in a similar situation and can give me some suggestions!? Thanks!

  • I think the 50's style bikinis would be your best bet. Google "Retro Bikinis" and you'll see what I mean. They have a higher-waisted bottom and personally, I think they're adorable! Have fun on your cruise! And remember that no one will be looking at you or your stretch marks. Everyone is consumed with their own lives, so rock whatever you decide to wear! =)

I suggest getting a semi-dark airbrush spray tan. It will distract people from the stretch marks, especially if you're pale AND you'll look more tone. Also, try a high cut "retro," bikini bottom that will cover a lot of your tummy.

What you're looking for is called wholesomewear swimsuits, as seen on Duggar women everywhere.

Just kidding. I really like the spray tan suggestion, and I think you should just rock your body and be proud of it.
