just trying to get healthier. I am 47 and have gained and lost the same 70lbs + since high school...and now have arthritis in both knees. I have been as low as 175 and as high as 324. This time around I started at 311 in 2008-09. I lost focus dealing with my mom who became sick in September and died in November 2009, but rebounded and started losing again. I became engaged and my now husband's cousin, who is a fitness trainer, helped me reach my first goal of 250 for my wedding September 22, 2012 (on my wedding day I might add). On my honeymoon I did bootcamp workouts every morning on our cruise but ultimately gained 10lbs on the honemoon; and I just seemed to stop working out since. So, I am now up 13 lbs since my wedding. I can't afford the trainer right now but saved all her cardio workouts so here I go.... back at it again. Hoping to make these healthier habits more permanent. Going to the gym, going to get back out hiking, using MFP to track food, and I have a friend/nutritionist who is keeping tabs on my food lists.
Anyway, who knew I could ramble on so. Just wanted to say hello, feel free to add me as a friend.. and if you live in the OC area of CA and are looking for a workout/walking/hiking partner let me know.
