How much sugar is typical?

So... I'm looking at my weekly diary, and I've consistently exceeded the "goal" (not by a lot mind you) which is 30g out of 1550 calories... Doesn't that seem a little bit low? One apple and you are slightly over half way there.

I also found I have been very low on the potassium front... Unfortunately, many good potassium options are fruit... Which compete against the sugar goal.

Thoughts?
