I understand my journey isn't going to be an easy one. I can't change what took years to put on over night. Although I wish I could snap my fingers and be 60lbs lighter! I can work hard and grow daily into the person i'm meant to be, the person I want to be... I believe that life has a way of making you realize whats important, what never was and what never will be. I'm not saying I wont feel like giving up along the journey; or for that matter making excuses, but i'm ready to move on. I feel like i've read some negative comments on this community and that it should be filled with positive remarks because it takes a lot for a person to change. I have PCOS and diabetes. I want my 3yr old to know that her moma does everything possible to make life healthy and happy. My goal is to loose 60lbs this year. Yes i'm been at this since Oct. 2012 and started at 273lbs and went down to 268lbs. but i've also lost 20" off my body, felt more active and my biggest kick is i've lost 2lbs of body fat!!! I may not be a skinny minnie when I'm finished and yes if you figure it out i'll still be above 200lbs but thats ok. I'm doing this for myself!
I hope everyone finds this positive and comforting as thats all we really need. As of today I will personally be keeping a "Journey Journal" which will be my home motivation to look back upon at the end of the year or anytime I feel like giving up. My advice is KEEP GOING, DON'T EVER GIVE UP."

Whether it's 1 pound or 100 pounds it's something to celebrate! Congratulations on the initial loss of 5 lbs and 20"!!
You have the right attitude and you're taking the right approach - not the quick fix but healthy choices and changes that will impact your quality of life, not just your dress size.
Keep up the good work!!0 -

Really, you've lost more than 5 lbs, because, if you hadn't changed your lifestyle when you did, you could have put weight on!
You're, doing great. As we say in the UK, "slowly, slowly, catchy monkey" lol0 -
thank you
It means a lot!
