Poor Forum Moderators

So I found myself going through the hilarity of the forums today and enjoying the usual volume of inappropriate posts and witty and sarcastic comments that got in before the lock, when I suddenly was hit by a pang of...poor moderators...
Wait...WTH???
Think about it...all day long they have to comb through the posts, and even when they *know* something is flippin' HILARIOUS and should be shared with the world, they are forced to lock it down, censor and at times out and out delete it, because of the "RULES".
They are oppressed. They can't allow their freak flags to fly. They can't enjoy the obviously fabulous sense of humor that most of our neighborhood trolls possess.
Can you imagine?
What an existence!
Horrible!
So tonight I say :drinker: here's to you moderators! We salute you and your pain. Perhaps one day you will fight the power! Stand up to da man keeping you down! Let the raunchiness go for one day and you will feel the freedom that is yours to own!
Peace out!
*drops microphone and leaves stage*
 Man...someone has had too much of something tonight... :glasses:

It's their job they chose it. I'm sure they knew what they were getting themselves into so. I don't really feel bad about it.0

Hey Folks,
While I WELCOME input from everyone on our moderation process I am going to lock this topic for now because I am concerned that it will develop into a public critique of our hard working, dedicated, volunteer moderators who care deeply about protecting our MFP community and enforcing our community guidelines. I encourage anyone who has feedback about the moderation process to please send me a private message with your thoughts. It might take me a few days to respond, especially over the weekend, but I very much want to hear your opinions.
I also want to take this opportunity to respectfully remind folks of one of our community guidelines:
11. No Airing of Grievances With Moderators
a) Protesting a moderator or admin action is not allowed on the Forums or in Groups. If you have a question or concern about a moderator or admin action, please email one of the moderators or Olivia, MFP's Community Manager, with your concern and we will investigate the matter promptly.
b) If you have concerns about another poster, or wish to report a guideline violation, the only appropriate venue is to use the Report Post link or to message a moderator or Olivia, MFP's Community Manager. You may not air such concerns on the message boards themselves. If you have a general concern that does not involve a specific member, you may post your question in the Feedback or Help forums.
c) Threats made to moderators will not be tolerated, and will result in an immediate ban from the site.
I look forward to hearing directly from you.
Have a lovely weekend!
Kindly,
Olivia
