Looking other 1st time 1/2 or full marathon trainees

Hello!

I started on MFP this past August! I was tired of the up and down battle with my weight. So I went all in with my program to lose 30 pounds....

I started eating breakfast....cut fast food out almost entirely, cut out alcohol almost entirely, ate high protein snacks and meals, and drank a lot of water. I was going to the gym 7 days a week. I am sure some people would not agree with my method of motivating myself while working out, but I used both negative and positive self-talk while doing cardio.

I lost 30 pounds and still have another 5 pounds to go....I am down from a shirt size of XL/L to M and pant size of 36 to 33/32....

I need another goal to work towards....So I have decided to run a half marathon in May! I live in Colorado, the "fitness" capital of the United States...laugh I am looking for some other people who are training or looking to train for their first 1/2 or full marathon...Who need support and want to support other!
