Weekend Warriors: 3/5-3/7

Alright ya'll.....after doing a quick search in the forum for the word "weekend," I can see that I am soooo not alone in my struggles to maintain control on the weekends. What has worked for me from time to time in the past was to write out a weekend plan before Friday afternoon. This would help me to stay the course better because I had already thought it through.
I will admit that I am RARELY "perfect" on the weekends. I almost always have a cheat meal planned. Or I sometimes will allow a free day. My free day usually ends up being ok, calorie wise, but it allows me to eat guilt free for a day (within reason).
So...I'm beginning a new weekly thread here. Looking for some extra accountability and a forum where I can share my plan. welcome feedback, and celebrate my successes.
General idea is this:
1 - Submit your plan by end of day Friday (I am also going to cut/paste my plan into my blackberry so that I can review it throughout the weekend)
2 - Check in over the weekend as needed. To review your plan? How's it going? Need a little push to help you "stay the course" when you feel like you've already flubbed it up?
3 - Monday and Tuesday: report back...evaluate...what do you want to change for next weekend?
Who'd like to join me?

This weekend is going to be a bit tricky for me as my mom is coming for a visit and insists on Pizza Fridays!!
So the plan:
Friday: Pizza for dinner. Eat in moderation during the day so I don't "pig out" - allowed 2 slices. Work out during lunch.
Saturday: Make healthy choices at restaurant. Just because I go out to eat with my mom doesn't mean I have to indulge. Weather is suppose to be nice - so long walk with mom.
Sunday: Clean eating day. If I've "behaved" myself the rest of the weekend, I'll take a rest day from working out. If I over indulged at all, another long walk (or maybe 2 depending on the damage).0 -
Ok...here's what I've got for this weekend.
Friday:
Meeting a colleague @ First Watch for breakfast. My normal calorie consumption in the a.m. (breakfast & morning snack) is roughly 450, so that's what I'm shooting for. I think I can do it with an egg white omelet with turkey sausage, spinach, tomatoes and a dry english muffin. I may swap out the english muffin with their potatoes..they are REALLY good!
Lunch should be a normal old lunch
Dinner is fish fry. I CAN and I will make healthy choices. All of the fish fries around here have a healthier option (baked fish of some sort) so it shouldn't be too hard to navigate.
Saturday:
Nothing out of the ordinary. I'm going to try and use this as my cooking/prep day for the week ahead. BUT..it's also supposed to be GORGEOUS outside so I may need to use this as my "get outside and play in the sunshine" day! ;-)
Sunday:
Breakfast/Lunch should be manageable. Going to my nephew's birthday party that evening for dinner, cake, ice cream. If I am "good" the rest of the weekend (meaning NO unscheduled treats) then I may indulge just a bit. Otherwise, it really shouldn't be hard to stay in my calorie range.
Looking forward to another GREAT weekend!0
