Calorie Question. Work Out Day vs Rest Day

Hello.
I currently eat about 1700 calories per day on the days that I exercise. I figured this number up by using TurboFire's "Fueling the Fire" book.
I take one rest day per week. On my rest day should I still aim for 1700 or do I need to stay around 1500? The 1500 is my Resting Metabolic Rate + my Daily Activity Burn (w/o exercise).
I am currently trying to maintain. I just started to maintain so this is new to me.
Thank you in advance.

Yes you'd want to eat less calories on rest days during maintenance.0

Thank you. I just didn't know if it was okay to go up and down with calories or if I needed to stick within a certian range.0

Goodness, sometimes my calorie allowance is below 2000 (rest days) and sometimes around 3500 depending... I will go lower when my allowance is super high, but not that low... maybe 500 calories at most.0
