Hola mi amigos! I am not new here but I need some help! I have been doing low carb off and on...........want to go towards keto. The problem I have tho is that I do well for a few days and then eat some bad things for a few days.........and then I wonder why I am not losing!!! I am looking for some FUN, outgoing, goofy low carb and keto buddies to help me get my act straight and stick to it!!
I KNOW this is the route I need to go. My body responds to it well! I lose and I have awesome energy when eating this way! I am trying to build an army of people who will keep me on my toes, motivate me and call me out when I stray!
If this is YOU, add me please!!!!! :-D

I don't know much about Keto. Is this something you can keep doing? I'm finding that cutting out the carbs I don't care about but still having some that I like is working. I'm just curious!!0

I know if I can ever get into it totally I can. I love eating meat, cheese, eggs, butter, nuts etc b/c I really don't have a sweet tooth and that fills my fat cravings. I am going to give it a 100% shot and tell the hub to hide the bread from me! I have found a great sub I am totally happy with for chips, potatoes (just not fries yet) and pasta.
I have been reading about keto-cycling which is where you eat keto 5 days and eat carbs 2 days. May try this...........thats another post to see what kind of results people who have done it get!!0 -
My girlfriend (FayeCanDoIt) has this same problem. I can sit there and eat meat and only meat every meal every day, but she gets bored and wants to have fun stuff. I recommend checking out a lot of vegetables you can have like Bok Choy and Avocados and spinach sauteed in butter, green beans and bacon, onions fried in cheeseburger grease, buttered broccoli and cheese, cauliflower crust pizza, cucumber chips, pickles,
Or just pick a day like Sunday where you go have everything you were craving for the whole week written down, and go to a chinese buffet, or bottomless spaghetti place.0 -
Thanks for that Bacitracin! I LOVE veggies..........I just have to get into the habit of cooking with more butter!!!! I can totally do without most bread but I LOVE those french steak rolls!! The hub thinks he has to have bread with every meal!! I wish I could get it out of the house! I have been trying some low carb breads but they just aren't the same. Love the cauliflower pizza! And meatza!
I know what I have to do! I have to get it in my stubborn head that I can do this temporarily!!! B/c I KNOW if I can get to where I can cut those bad carbs for a while, I can do it forever!!! Maybe having one cheat day a week for a while would be good! I bet if I did it a few times......eventually I wouldn't need it!
Thanks for all the ideas and support!! :-D0 -
