How to log 'unknown foods'?

Hi, pals!
I'm usually having my lunch at small restaurant nearby. They have something like "meal of a day", which is prepared for you. I'm kinda curious, how to log calories in this case. For example, today I was eating some kind of wrap with chicken, apple and rice noodles. The chef named this one "Apple-chicken tortilla". It wasn't completely dry, but still I cannot say how much sauce was used and what sauce was used: sour cream or mayo?
How do you log your food in this case?
Currently, I do internal search and try to determine something that feats my personal filling about that type of meal, but may be you can advice a better solution.
P.S. Feel free to add me as friend, I think I will need some support to hit my target in upcoming 100 days.

Your best bet is to ask what's in the meal your eating if it isn't detailed on the menu. If you are too uncomfortable getting the break down from the restaurant you can do what I do. Take your best guess! Have you searched the name of it on the site or on google. Someone else may have gone to the same place. Also, if you make a mistake at guessing, as long as you're within range, you will not be greatly affected by just a few calories. In order to avoid being too wrong I always guess that I ate a little more then I probably did. Hope that helps0
