My husband and I are going to a dine-in movie theater this Saturday for my birthday. We've nevr been to one and it should be awesome from what my friends who've been tell me. They serve you dinner (and drinks) right in your plush leather seat (fancy!) while you enjoy the movie. Our daughter will be having a sleepover at grandma's (YEAH BABY!) and we won't have to worry about picking her up or being quiet when we get home :blushing:

So...The options for movies (that I'd actually consider watching) at this dine-in are the following:

Zero Dark Thirty
Les Miserables
The Hobbit

What say you all?

I really, really want to watch Zero Dark Thirty.

Although you can't go wrong with The Hobbit, since you both are nerds... :P

Aw, that sounds so cool! I've never even heard that.

I don't know what Zero Dark Thirty is, I've seen The Hobbit 3D, and I really want to see Les Mis so go see that for me. :)

See the hobbit, it's good but it's only about 1/3 of the story.

The Big Lebowski. When picking a movie the answer is always The Big Lebowski.

I saw the Hobbit in 3d (IMAX) version. Really, the only way to watch that movie. I would recommend.

If Les Mis is anywhere near as good as the stage show which I have seen 3 times then go and see that.

Les Miserables gets my vote, BUT my wife and I BOTH like musicals, and the story isn't exactly a happy feel good story. so keep that in mind.

    Les Mis.
It is fantastic. Bring a box of kleenex if you go to this one.

I saw Les Miserables and could not recommend it more. It made me breathless. It was moving. You gotta kinda like musicals, but I think even non-musical lovers will LOVE it.

I am a HUGE fan of the LOTR books and movies, but I haven't heard good things about the Hobbit.. so I'm not enthusiastic about seeing it.

Depends on your mood and what kind of emotions you're wanting to have while eating dinner. The Hobbit and Les Mis brought about different emotions for me. I haven't seen the other.

Les Mis if you're the one who wants to watch the movie - your husband will likely be bored lol. But I hear it's #1 fantastic movie out there right now! :)
The Hobit if your husband liked Lord of the Rings
Not sure what the other one is even about....never heard of it.

And how cool is a dine in movie theater!!! i have never heard of that! Hope you have fun :)
