difference between Whey Protein and Soy Protein?

Please someone explain to me the difference between Whey Protein and my protein shake spiru –tein? is it just taste? I personally like Spiru-tein products as they dont have that icky after taste... Thoughts?

Different amino acid profiles. Whey protein has the most complete amino acid profile thus it's the most popular type of protein supplement.
Also, with soy, soy is actually not healthy for the body unless the soy has been fermented (there are certain chemicals which essentially act like toxins in the body which are removed when soy is fermented).
If it's the taste of whey proteins that bothers you, there's Syntha-6 as well as Lean Dessert which literally tastes like milkshakes. They both have very robust amino acid profiles as well (they consist of whey protein, micellar casein protein, and egg protein).0 -

I've switched to Body Fortress whey isolate powder. It's tasty and I don't find it has an aftertaste...just don't try to add it to hot drinks! lol0

Soy is less expensive, really. It has a slightly lower score of absorption, and in the case of what I had gotten last time, it tasted a bit better than the whey stuff I had. Also, some people have issues with Whey, so soy works better for them.0
