Vacation people!!!!

Anyone else on vacation? I am in the tropics for the next 7 days. I am NOT complaining, trust me I want to be here.. but I don't want to lose sight of my healthy habits either. What are your plans?

Breakfast every morning is a huge buffet of everything you could ever want. I will try it all.... just not in one day. Today I had fruit and the omelette bar and some fish. No idea what will happen for dinner yet!

    I visited a friend in Florida last year for a long weekend and didn't gain any weight-I just watched what I had and enjoyed myself.

    Go for the veggies first and fill half your plate with them, do the same thing in the morning when it comes to fruit. Don't think you can't have something, just be aware of how much you're having of each thing. I liked your saying "I will try it all....just not in one day." Enjoy your vacation!

    My husband and I are going to Disney World, probably for a week in May, and we're getting the dining plan. Two meals per day, including dessert, plus a snack a day (we usually split a coffee and a pastry at one of the bakeries for breakfast). Their portions are HUGE, even for the "fast food" stuff. I've decided to not fret over it and I will enjoy it.

    I will be wearing my Fitbit though. I am so curious as to how much walking we actually do while we are there. I'm hoping to finish up the C25K plan before we leave as well and run most mornings we are there.
