Gluck to everyone in Newfoundland shoveling their calories away today lol. There is a snowfall warning from environment Canada for up to 75cm of snow starting this evening (the snow just started falling outside my house) and going to tomorrow. I haven't seen that much snow in one go in a very very long time.
By the time all is said and done, some areas could see up to 75 cm of snow accumulate.
"In addition to the heavy snow this system will produce strong winds as well," says Brian Dillon, a meteorologist at The Weather Network. "Peak wind gusts could reach 120 km/h, which will lead to a lot of blowing and drifting snow. Near zero visibility is likely Thursday night and into Friday."

lol. I shoveled 3 times and realized I was getting nowhere so I made a giant snowball (larger then me) instead. I have cold blooded pets. I got up when the UPS (uninterrupted power supply) screamed at me to let me know it was kicking in (probably about 5am) so I could tarp blankets under doors and around reptiles, light candles, crack hot rock massage hearts (I got them at a uh...'pleasure' place for the reptiles to keep warm lol), filled up hot water bottles, and made myself a blanket tent. As I was squating in my blanket tent I heard something outside...it was mom, shoveling a hole to get into the door to let me know the power came back and to turn up the heat incase it goes again....that was about 5 hrs later after 12pm.

Can't wait to see if we get all 100cm...gonna make a giant snowman

bf just spent $100 to truck the snow out of his driveway. This is me standing in it after the snow was gone.

Yep the snow was that high. No wonder the snow plow service he called showed up and left lol. There's no way that snow was getting pushed anywhere.
