I havent lost any noticeable weight I dont feel anybetter and Im hungry all the time and just never seem to have enough calories for the day. I just feel like I cant eat anything I like. When I do I go way over what Im allowed for the day and then feel like a failure. I cant seem to stay motivated to work out everyday or even go for a walk. I feel like Im never going to look the way I want and that Im wasting my time. Someone please Help I feel hopeless and awful.

we've all been there. i find that taking small steps helps me stay focused. its not realistic for me to workout everyday, so i don't. i don't beat myself up for it either. set realistic work out goals for yourself, and feel free to adjust them. try something fun, like bellydancing, that doesn't feel like work!
as for food, eat what you like! i still eat cool ranch doritos, but i put a serving in a bowl and thats all i eat.
don't put yourself down for not losing weight. this is mainly about being healthy, so don't watch the scale too much. its the journey, not the destination...
small goals, reward yourself, and you are beautiful just as you are:flowerforyou:0 -
the suggestion of exercise is a gud one
plus it lifts ur spirits so ul gain both ways0 -
Don't give up. Try to take your gym bag with you to work or when running errands and place it on the front seat with you. The guilt helps me get there.Maybe, you just have not found a way to exercise that does't bore you (I get bored doing crinches, so I don't do them. Although I love running.) So just try different things until something sticks. Get the support of your friends, better yet recruit on eof them to work out with you. Take some good music it also works as a great distraction. I wish you luck. And by the way the more calories you burn the more you can eat.0

If you exercise regularly, and feel like something just isn't working... consider doing a thyroid test.... there's a small chance that it could be your culprit. It was for me. At least you could rule hypothyroidism out and get back to trying something else. some other symptoms of hypothyroidism could be; brittle nails, low iron count, fatigue, CRAVINGS, no weight loss even with diet and exercise, thinning hair and dry itchy skin.
it's good to make sure you're healthy. Also, the saliva test is much more accurate than the blood test.0 -
I'm losing weight very very slowly so I know what You feel.
But if You are dieting with MFP only since March (that's what it's written under Your foto ) just be patient! 2 weeks is a very short time. I'm sure You'll feel healthier soon if You started regular exercises - that's how it was with me!
Sth about being hungry - did You hear about glycemic index? The idea is that the lower it is in the food You eat the longer this food is digested and the less hungry You feel. Try it, it really works. Some info:

Make sure you get some good, restful sleep too! I just saw something on 60 minutes last night linking sleep deprivation and feeling more hungry. It also talked about not being able to metabolise sugars as well when sleep deprived. Good luck. I've been there...it'll pass...0

Depression is really hard my dear. So hard. You just have to take each day at a time and convince yourself that day that you are worth the effort. Just one day at a time.
I struggle everyday but I keep going.0 -
Thank you so much for all the advice. My bfs mom metioned I might have a thyroid problem from other issues I was having(like the dry skin) I guess I just didnt wanna think it could be so I let it go. But no I do not go to the Gym I cant afford it. I really want to try a class because I think I would get more into it and stick to it but its so expencive to do any of that kind of stuff. I have a hard enough time affording healthy food. Im leaving work Ill come back on when I get home0

Eat less carbs and more protein and fat (not saturated). Carbs digest quickly and make you hungrier. Protein and especially fat makes you feel full longer. Eat 4-6 meals per day. This works really well for me. Since I've started doing this, I'm almost never hungry. Stick to your target calories, but change the macronutrient breakdown.
If you can't afford a gym membership, you can run, bike, jump rope, walk, hike, etc. Do at least 30/day, 5 days per week.
It will get easier and easier. Whatever you do, don't be lazy!0 -
That's true - gym is quite expensive. That's why I like to buy a fitness dvd from time to time and exercise at home. It's better than just exercising on Your own because You are motivated and see how You should do everything. There are plenty of instructions. Definitely give it a try
You can probably find some of these dvds at amazon, ebay or just in a local store.0 -

You may want to check around. Also, if you have health insurance, check to see if it covers partial gym memberships. I know mine does (many of the major HMO's and PPO's do now), Also, the YMCA is pretty cheap ( I know the one by our house does 3 months for about $90) or if you like a certain class, you can usually get into one for about $5 for a day pass which, if you only go once or twice a week, ends up being a lot less then a membership.0
