The only benefit to eating often is to keep hunger under control and keep calories in check. It does not affect metabolism.0

It might keep you from eating as much by keeping you from getting hungry between meals... but otherwise, nothing. It's a personal preference thing. By itself, meal timing and frequency have no impact on weight loss or metabolic rate.0
