Do you get demotivated when changing food

I usually have a different lunch and dinner most days but my breakfast is always the same. About a week ago , I ran out of my favourite coffee for breakfast and I didn't bother to replace it. I tried other substitutes instead (some lower in calories) and since then I changed from crumpets to bread/bread to muffin etc. I have had days when I don't even drink coffee and kept the calories the same. However since the change in eating, I have had a few bad days. I am not sure if it is a coincidence but I think I might be feeling demotivated as I not eating my usual favourite food/drink.

Has anyone noticed this?
