PB2: Plain or Chocolate?

Looking for something to add to my chocolate Isopure shake. I don't want a lot of calories and thought maybe PB2 would make the Isopure taste better. Which flavor is better? What place or which website has the best price? Thanks!

oh and try Amazon. Sometimes they have great prices on groceries. PB2 is fabulous stuff.0 -
This one instead -- similar to PB2 without the sugar or price tag.

Both!0

It's not processed with chemicals or additives. It's dehydrated. Nothing more than roasted peanuts, sugar, and salt.

Why would you respond to this question?
To answer OP question, I haven't tried them but I saw a 2 pack on Amazon for $6. One chocolate and one plain. What do people normally do with PB2? Is it just for adding to shakes?0 -

Why did you lump us together? Drmerc and I may share a body, but we have different heads.0 -

I imagine you could use it like you'd use regular peanut butter0 -

Sorry. I'm newish. I don't know how to break up quotes in a reply. My question still stands. You both have brought up that you don't eat foods that are processed (or in your case, numerical). Why would this question hold interest for either of you, except for you to point out that you don't eat something? It's like a vegetarian posting on a question about how to prepare chicken.0 -
I just got the two pack from Amazon yesterday for the first time! So excited. It's pretty tasty. The serving size is 2 tablespoons (45 calories) and you mix with 1 tablespoon of water. I made one serving and put it on a plain gluten free rice cake (35 calories) and it was delish!! And only 80 calories!!!0

I'm trying to figure why there's an or in that subject line.
Seriously though, they both taste great and I eat them both constantly. Often mixing a serving of regular and a serving of chocolate together for my morning toast. I've touted their awesomeness and all the things I use them in over and over here, so I won't repeat myself to the boredom of everyone here.
But I use them so much that I just buy the cases of one pound bags directly from the Bell Plantation website. Sign up for their newsletter, it's super infrequent but will sometimes contain coupon codes or discount deals like buying two cases of something and getting a third free.0 -
Check out amazon and Vitacost.com both have had good prices. Or bell plantation, I ordered a mix pack, 2jars of regular and 2 of choclate. Not much difference imo....try mixing the plain with grape juice instead of water,,,tastes like pb&j. Nomnom!!0

Go with the plain. If you want chocolate pb2, just add some cocoa powder. If you look at the ingredients, you can see that the only thing added to make pb2 chocolate is some cocoa powder. You can do that yourself, and have the best of both worlds!0

It's best as actual peanut butter (mixed with water to make a paste) tastes like natural PB. Also 1 tbsp in a small container of vanilla yogurt makes a great dip for apples. I don't like it in shakes, I find the flavour is too weak plus I milk a jar of PB2 for well over a year since its 4x the price of regular peanut butter and I have enough trouble getting enough fat in a day so it's not something I need to cut out.0 -

^^^ Yummy. I've been taking a TBS of Adam's PB to work with apples everyday but your dip sounds delish. I'm going to try that when my PB2 arrives from Amazon. Thank you!0 -
Wow it's incredible how negative people can be on here - like elementary school. Thank you again to the MANY people that stood up for my topic.0

I have PB2 Chocolate and I mix it right in with my steel cut oats. I also add raspberries or blackberries. It tastes like dessert for breakfast.0 -

I might be wrong, and tell me if I am, but I feel like you didn't really mean that.0 -
Original!! The chocolate one is gross0
-
I like both of them. I like adding it to oatmeal or just using it as regular peanut butter. It's great for baking and easier than standard peanut butter because it's powder, much easier to mix.0

Chocolate with a banana.... heaven!
Hubby now really likes putting the plain on his ice cream. Just sprinkle some on!0
