BodyMedia Calorie Help!

Options
This is day 2 of wearing my BodyMedia Link.

So far today I have burned 2814 calories. I will be going to bed soon so I will not be eating anything else today nor exercising / burning a lot of calories. I ate 1569 calories today according to my tracking on MFP so I am at a deficit of 1245 which is just over 2 pounds a week. I have a significant amount of weight to lose (100+) so I don't want to hinder myself from the get-go by not eating enough. I am full and satisfied so I don't want to add empty calories.

Help! Is a deficit of 1000-1500 calories bad? I haven't even started working out yet, I am working on my tracking first before I add exercise so this deficit is going to get bigger unless I add a lot of calories.

ETA: according to BodyMedia I should eat 1980 calories and according to MFP I should eat 1490 so there is a large discrepancy.

Your right on track. Most professionals say you need a 500-750 calories defisat Figure 500cal/day is 7500/week or losing 1lb of healthily weight per week
